Borderless 2021 brings together researchers from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds to share their experiences in building academic or industrial careers. The goal is to expand the knowledge of the participants of opportunities and challenges in various countries, rather than to provide general advice. The idea stems from the discussion during IJCAI-20, where being poorly informed about cross-border differences appeared to be a common roadblock on one’s career path.
